Morning discussion with one the founder about “gossip”. As company grow so do the people quantity and the culture inside (for good and bad). Agree with Simon Sinek in his book about small company or startup relative easy to work together focus on the cause of the company. Bigger one not just focus on the goal of the company but also the peoples inside. Good for yesterday that the gossip is not right, now should I find out where it start? I don’t think so, we will focus on our OKR.

Alignment  / collaboration or whatever the word of  “working together for same goal” is so challenging in this time. I am leveling up my leadership skill through all this opportunities. Doing my best to gather leaders, discuss together and find out optimal solution for us. Our enemy are “silo” condition, “every man for their own ass” principe, “not realize what really happen” mindset, “pretending know nothing” action, “made up condition to make some people happy” priority and many more “selfish” thing. We are not living in innocent world with all honest people, however we need to control the balance. In my humble point of view, we are imbalance.

Next, I have a meeting outside, then I got back to office to discussed about ERP timeline. A little upset feeling because the leaders is too focus on technical detail and the planning is not finished yet. But, a big proud of them, we are together, we are not blaming each other and always give our best. Just “our best” is not enough, we need to run faster! #huft #tiredbuthappy
